Become part of the Basketball Friday Night team!

Do you want to be a part of the award-winning Basketball Friday Night in West Virginia team? We’re recruiting new volunteers Monday, October 16, 2017 on Marshall University’s campus!

Basketball Friday Night is seeking Marshall University students and community members who have a passion for high school basketball, sports journalism, radio/television production — or people who just want to support our mission of celebrating high school basketball across the Mountain State. Volunteers get hands-on experience producing our live, 3-hour broadcast, which reaches radio affiliates and television viewers across the state. Prior production/broadcasting experience is not required!

To learn more, please join representatives from Basketball Friday Night during the regularly-scheduled WMUL sports staff meeting on Monday, October 16, 2017, at 6 P.M. in C.B. 201 (Communications Building, 2nd floor) within the WMUL studios at Marshall University. You’ll have the opportunity to learn more about what on-air and off-air opportunities we have for volunteers both during our weekly broadcasts Fridays from 9 p.m. to midnight and throughout the week! You’ll also have the opportunity to learn more about the WMUL Sports team and their year-round volunteer opportunities both on and off the air!

We hope to see you Monday, October 16, 2017, at 6 P.M.!
